German Shepherd training or dog obedience trainng is easy because German Shepards are eager to please and are quick learners, acquiring new skills in short time. They are very aware of their owner’s voice command and respond well to firm, consistent and concise commands. Make the German Shepherd training fun and you will see the versatility that makes them desirable for a wide variety of activities including dog sports.

 

German Shepherd Dogs are happiest when doing some type of work, such as agility, obedience, or detection. Don't over-exercise your German Shepard when they are young because it can cause damage to undeveloped bones, joints, and muscles. The German Shepherd Dog needs room outside to play in, but can adapt to life in an apartment if sufficient exercise is provided.
